No dia 16 de abril, o Designer de moda americano Tommy Hilfiger, lançou em seu site a "Coleção Promise", um conjunto de roupas inspiradas em designs de vários países africanos e feitos de tecidos e materiais adquiridos na África. Toda a arrecadação dos produto será para apoiar as Aldeias do Milênio em Ruhiira, Uganda.
Estrelada pela atriz Katie Holmes, que fez a viagem no início deste ano, Holmes foi nomeada embaixadora da campanha por Tommy Hilfiger, e continuará a contribuir para a sensibilização sobre os progressos realizados pelas Aldeias do Milênio. De acordo com a atriz, seu objetivo não é apenas doar fundos para o projeto, mas de dar aos aldeões o apoio que precisam para criar um futuro auto-sustentável.

On the 16th of April, the american Fashion Designer Tommy Hilfiger launched on it website the "Promise Collection", a suit of clothes inspired by designs from various African countries and made from textiles and materials procured from Africa. All Proceeds from the collection will go to support Millennium Villages in Ruhiira, Uganda.
Featured by the actress Katie Holmes, which went in the trip earlier this year, Holmes was named an ambassador by Tommy Hilfiger and will continue to help raise awareness on the progress being made by the Millennium Villages.
